Getting paid for ads/promotions/affiliates from your employer
Being on h1 visa makes you tied to your employer and forbids getting any revenue streams beside your paycheck. So say a person works for Google and also runs some adsens ads, does it still qualify as getting your paycheck from your only US employer? Another thing is how legal it is to use Google adsens or Amazon affiliate links while working for the company, are there any restrictions?

You can’t do it for any 3rd party. Also google and read about H1b / Airbnb. Sounds pretty relevant

You can’t do the work while in the US. If you’ve already done the labor, then the passive collection of money is fine.
