Girls who code

What should my sister expect from the girls who code application? Is there anything in particular that they look for? It doesn’t ask for teacher recs, referrals, or grades. It would be great to get general advice, or if you’ve taught/organized the program just pm since it would be great if she could reach out and ask you her questions herself.
