Github referral needed

I am a Microsoft employee, how can I get referral to Github? Anyone has any idea? I have also heard that all jobs in Github are remote ones?

When I interviewed for GH prior to the acquisition it was potentially all remote...but also all Ruby 😕

As a hiring manager, I can say pretty confidently that a referral, especially from someone who hasn’t worked closely with you in the past, won’t help your chances. There’s not a lot of weight put on a referral.

I want referral so that I am eligible to give interviews, I already applied many times from careers Portal but no response from Github recuritment team :-(
