Hi, Big companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, etc. have policies that if you didn’t clear an interview then you would have to wait for a period of 12months/6months depending on the company before reapplying. Is this policy strictly enforced by these companies? If say I get a referral at these companies the second time around, would I have a chance of getting an interview or would they check it in their system?
Heh, you've never heard the story of the cobblers kids not having shoes? There is no "system".
It’s pretty common and strict depending on how ur last interviews went. If the feedback was on borderline then sometimes they might reconsider u after 6 months . None of the companies have this as a written policy. But more than that, it’s the recruiters / sourcers who make this decision so it’s always unfair to us as candidates

Is it cheaper to eat chipotle everyday than buy groceries ?
At Amazon, it is common to be recycled to a different job family shortly. I don’t know about retrying for the exact same role.
