Gmail’s UI is so bad I switched to the Outlook App
From randomly opening into Spam/Promos to deleting incredibly useful Inbox features...I decided to route all my work email (google apps) to the Outlook mobile app. It’s actually awesome and brings in all of your calendar data to more easily schedule meetings and share your availability without ads.
Yeah. Unfortunately ux devs don't leetcode. We are a joke when it comes to front end. We need to focus more on product side of things.
Did the inbox team just get shuffled out of mail? That was a great UI
I meant front end web devs. Our mobiles apps are really beautiful both on iOS and Android. But none of the web apps are good enough. Except for YouTube may be. The tooling and infrastructure that's in place for Android is one of the best I've seen inside the company. Not so much for angular and typescript. But atleast it's improving.
No folder but tags only is the worst ever design/product decision

I didn’t stop using Gmail I just stopped using it on my phone through the google app
