Golden visa in EU?
Anyone has heard or applied to the Golden Visa in Europe program? I want to know if it's real or scam. Can't find any negative reviews about it online. P.S. It's a collection of some programs where you use your money (e.g. invest in real estate) in some EU countries (i.e. Portugal, Greece, Spain) to gain residency and then citizenship for the family. Asking for a friend who has about $300k and wants easy EU residency (not through work).

Yes. This program is not just for one country. There are some countries that require less (250-300). He first wants to make sure the program is real.
The program is real and you can get residency in Greece for something like 290k if you buy real estate, the UK is more expensive at a few million pounds and also not a member of the EU, any specific reason to look at the EU?
Thanks. He's a citizen of a middleast country (not India) and he's looking for a strong passport for his family and kids' future. Hence EU. (So they can travel visa-free to many countries whenever they need to).

Caribbean islands offer cheaper citizenship and pretty strong passports (Dominica ,Antigua etc )

Portugal golden Visa is best program. 500k Euros worth property . You get the passport in 6 years, no need to live in Portugal meanwhile (unlike Spain and other countries)
