Goldman Sachs SF - Marcus
I was reached out by Goldman Sachs Recruiter for position in SF for Marcus team. I havent shared my expectation numbers yet but does GS pay competitive ? My current TC is 230K/9 YOE (nevermind my years of experience, most is irrelevant to what I do now) It was also mentioned GS has Base + Bonus and no RSU component

They seem more willing to match FANG numbers than other parts of GS, worth a shot perhaps.

person9 Jun 6, 2019Ask for VP, don’t settle for associate if they try it. With bonus they can definitely match. I know a few people on Marcus with 150 base and 80 bonus with 5 YOE at associate. These are in NY
How are you making 230k with 9yoe??? I thought okta paid well???
