In your experience job hunting, what has set a good recruiter from the bad? What would help a recruiter set themselves apart and get you engaged?
Good recruiter: personalized opening email with a position relevant to your strengths and interests. Follows up promptly with info and does what they say they'll do. Bad recruiter: generic email, flakey, misleading, and does not accomplish what they claim they'll do or apologize for not doing things.

Fb has ton of these bad ones, at least the 6 that I have worked with so far. I hope they treated that same way next time they apply for a job.

A good recruiter always keeps a candidate informed or sets expectation about communication
Yes. The best recruiter I had said I will communicate with you once per week via email with updates or confirming that there are no updates. He quit the company shortly before my process was complete and pressured me into a lowball package but I that's besides the point. Hate the game not the player and I was a noob so GG. Communication was great though.
