I’m an extroverted engineer, which seems to put me in the minority. Are there any companies that attract similar types of people? I’m looking in the bay area.
Atlassian?
Any. It’s called being a PM or a manager.
What do you expect extroverted engineers to do differently? Are you looking to socialize more?
Yeah pretty much. More social team dynamic, less socially awkward people
Extroverts don't make good engineers. My advice is to take introversion training. If that's beyond your means, go for an MBA
What in the world is introversion training?
Yikes
Recommend you switch to PM. Or technical pm (although in my book every pm should be technical, but alas).
EM / SDM, bruh.
We have a fair number. Or, hang out with the sales and finance folks.
Come to NYC and work here.
