Good housing in Sunnyvale?

Looking at renting a 2bd/3bd house in or around Sunnyvale, priority is a large rear garden. Any reason I shouldn't go with Sunnyvale to minimize commute?

No. 1 : look outside Sunnyvale. You wouldn't get anything there other than old scabby apartments with no proper living space even after spending great money. Look at North San Jose or Milpitas, Santa Clara, or even San Jose in general.

Try around 85/280 junction, but that area is hardly available at Sunnyvale price

Avalon Silicon Valley in Sunnyvale has huge gardens. It’s a huge community with hundreds of apartments and you can always find something of your liking.

The yelp and Google reviews for that place concern me. I'm not looking for apartments, only detached houses, we don't want to deal with the risk of loud neigbours and/or abusive/leasing staff.

I think you are priced out of the rental market because of Qualcomm tc.

I wouldn't be Qualcomm TC if I decide to take the offer and move. I can go up to about 4500/mo

What's a rear garden?

Garden in the rear of the house as opposed to the garden/lawn at the front. We are big gardeners and have a dog so would like an area to cultivate and for our pet to roam.
