Good places to drive around in south bay area
What are some must see/drive places around south bay? Bought a car last week, so would like to drive around today/tomorrow. Tc: 180k, 3 yoe
Hwy 17 and go to santa cruz. Hwy 9 and go to half moon bay. 17 mile drive to Monterey is a bit far but good drive.

A new car isn’t satisfied until driven in Oakland downtown. Drive that baby here to see the real roads.
101 around 9am and 5pm weekdays
Go to Monterey, Carmel, 17 mile drive
La Honda road. Leading up to Alice's restaurant. Drive in sunlight. Watch out for bikers who appear to not understand physics.
Big Sur
Drive up to 92 via 280 and then turn towards Half Moon bay. Turn left on HWY 35 aka Skyline Blvd. Take a stop at the vista point and watch the valley. A short hike on other side, you could see Pacific ocean on a clear day or fog cover which make you feel on top of the clouds. Then back to your car and drive south towards Castle Rock but drive down to Saratoga. This turn is much before Castle rock, however if you have time then definitely visit the state park. Drive down towards Saratoga and treat yourself at one of the nice restaurant in downtown before you head back home.
An uncommon destination, but you can go to Lick observatory if you like driving on winding roads.
