Are people on h1b Visa currently switching companies / interviewing to switch companies s, especially given the visa situations ? Or is there a hiring freeze for h1b candidates ? I see a lot of posts discussing offers but not sure if those people are citizens or are here on a visa .
The best times folks, the very best of times.
USCIS got rid of premium processing transfers this year. This means it will take significantly longer for you to legally switch companies (could be 4 months rather than 2-4 weeks). I don’t really understand why @G8£r4d said that it depends on if you are Indian unless they are trying to insinuate some sort of racial hiring bias for tech companies.
Or the predominance of indians in consulting/services/contract based firms

Tipping culture is really getting out of control! Waiter gave me ‘a look’ because I tipped her 10% for ‘BAD service!’
It depends on if you are an Indian
Nope. Nationality is irrelevant for H1b
Absolutely nationality is relevant.
