(Google) Can you change team after you get an offer?
Recruiter trying to match me with a team ahead of the committee, non are really interesting to me, and it feels like a waste of time until I know if I actually get an offer and what it will be as Google low ball this days. Can I pick a team and if I get an offer ask to change..? TC: 270.
I would doubt it — someone correct me if I’m wrong but depending on the team would change the hiring committee I believe

The answer to all “can I change team” questions at Google is: “yes, but it’s a hassle and somewhat risky”.
Yes I guessed so.. Looks like I need to keep looking..
My friends at Google say easy to switch teams but I think you would need to wait a year. I am in same boat that might not get that great of a team match because the nearby offices have slim pickings and would like to stay in the LA area.

No I think you need to stay at least a year. I mean think about it, you agree to join the team then change your mind? Risk burning bridges in my opinion.
