Bonus: 30% of base
Signing Bonus: $7k
thoughts? anyone work with associate account strategists with similar packages?
edit: this is a new grad sales position for those unfamiliar with the role
- Microsoft / EngHadermoreFucking terrible. Come over to MS and we can assuredly pay you at least double base - especially in sales
- Nvidia(👍🏼😱🤑)Since it’s a sales role, perhaps try to negotiate a 3-6 month relaxed period where your targets aren’t required to be met. Also sign on seems low for sure - especially if you’re transplanting to this area. That’s like 4K after taxes, and so basically 1 month’s rent in MV. Ask for at least three month’s worth of signing bonus.
Also I’m sure you did your research but ask things like how often the team hits their targets, what the territory is, etc.
If you trust in the products you’re selling, then up the variable portion higher (40-50%, you’re young, risk it up). Since I think googlers in general get a 15% bonus, 30% doesn’t seem that high for the risk you’re taking in a sales role.
Stock is over 4 years? Or 38k/year? So your TC is about 120 if you count your stocks. Meh, still low for new grads but if you like the role, sales role growth is obviously good and very translatable to every other company. Of course, if the TC can be closer to 140 with your sales activities then it would be a wonderful start to your career!
- Avoid. They'll likely push this role into a remote office long term.
Such as the Austin or Colorado office
- Is this an ISR role? If so then I wouldn't take it unless you are in the Austin office
