Google: Equity difference between SWE and Partner Engineering
What is the equity difference in -% (level independent) we are talking between partner vs SWE organization in Google and are the refreshers also have the same difference? If yes then what should be the motivation to join partner organization? Is it really (apologies incase if I am hurting anyone) that folks who cannot clear SWE become partner engineer?

I was told by recruiter that equity difference is 50%. E.g if L6 SWE is 900k then in partner it is $450 over 4years. Seems like a huge difference
The coding bar for partner engineers is much lower than SWEs. But there is also an emphasis on soft skills and presentation skills. Some technical people become partner engineers for more client facing time. Believe it or not, there are a lot of people who care more about the work than the TC.
