Hi Blinders, Something I am pondering on for a while with Google application system or recruitment process. Not many jobs at Google have specific requirements in job description. But recently I see Google putting out specific job descriptions, keywords and domain expertise for specifically Google Health positions. I have considerable experience in these keywords and domain expertise, as I have been in that space for over 13 years. Again these are not tech stack or technology specific. These are regulatory, clinical, data interchange and medical specific keywords. These few / couple of positions have been out for weeks / months now. I have applied yet nothing, none so far from Google. Not even phone screen. Thoughts?
Google Health has decided just to improve Search for health topics. So they probably don't need those roles after all. Apply to Cloud Health team or Fitbit Health Solutions instead.
Amen. Their 1st found generic style of interviewing is not compatible with healthcare IT folks. Same thing at Amazon. You don’t actually meet anyone you would work with or get into anything related to subject matter expertise until 4-5 weeks in their interview process. You just have to get through their screening first. I can’t imagine this helps them hire top health IT talent.

I'm sorry man. There's just always someone better. I have great news for you though. A better opportunity. Have you considered Albertsons Health?
