Google Host Matching

If someone does not get any team (or gets but was not selected by that team) during internship host matching, do they get any preference for next season or during full time search?

You can keep going. Host matching shouldn’t end. Your recruiter should continue pull more strings.

But for internship, season will end soon and I want to start looking for full time as I am planning to graduate in Dec this year. What should I do in that case?

I don’t understand. Are you still in host matching? Google offers all-year round internships. While summer is the largest ones - yes, quite difficult to make a match, don’t lose hope just yet! Have you been in contact with Google and make sure you have as many host matching lining up? As far as full time - yeah great time to start preping more leetcode ;)

No, I don’t think you would get any preference. At least it didn’t happen for me in 2016 December. Just consider it as a regular reject.

I think you’re in the pool for six weeks, you might be able to skip screening next time.

I have been in pool for 12 weeks. They haven’t removed me yet and last host match was 1 week ago. Its a weird situation.

Oh wow! Definitely try changing your team preference forms, include more areas of interest.
