Hi all, I am in Seattle working for Amazon. I was recently contacted by google, and the recruiter recommended a job for me to apply. The job is matching my profile, but has different tech and requirements - I believe I meet only about 60%. She offered me this JD for applying because I mentioned to her that I wouldn’t like to relocate. Should I apply for the job? Or check with her about jd in Bay Area. Since google is coming to Seattle with 2-3 buildings in future I can relocate back if things work out. Please suggest
Yes, but that is where they have only one opening relevant to me while in Bay Area they have ton. I am assuming when they start occupying new buildings, there will be far more openings. Should I wait or go ahead for interview with 60-70 profile matching?
Can you decide as a part of team match? I’d bias towards interviewing for the Seattle position.
I am also trying to apply for Google for Data Analytics role. All I see is SWE roles which makes it difficult to search for my roles. Any suggestions?

Bay Area vs Seattle
Google is a bit Mountain View centric, so I'd argue you'll get the best experience living in the Bay area (does not have to be MTV.) That being said, you will want to ideally stick with your initial team for at least a year or two, as far as I understand it, so probably be mindful of whether or not you feel you can be successful at the job you take on.
