I got slightly more for L4 after one round of negotiation but in Europe with almost 8 YOE. I would say, dont complain, but you can always negotiate.
Typically 4yrs refresher. You may get more if you get promoted tho

Started with LeetCode, then went through most of CTCI and EPI. For graphs and DP read Cormen, then more LC. Google didn’t ask Sys design but other companies did. System design primer and Grokking on educative for Sys design.

Of course, it is not greed. Because people don't negotiate well, these companies get away with paying shit money to some hires. On average, this decreases the market value of all SWEs.
