Finalized compensation with Google, now time for executive committee. I hear a lot saying it's just a stamp of approval at this point, but there are rare cases where it can fail. Thoughts?

Same place as you, my recruiter said it's basically impossible for L3. They just check that your packet is put together properly and the org has budget. Nothing to worry about.
That's exciting to hear! My recruiter just keeps saying we're about 80% there, and we do have to go through executive, she's confident but not much reassurance.
I think they are told to not guarantee anything, but this step is basically a formality. The chance to get rejected at this stage is supposedly <1% for L3.
