Google L3 offer review
I have an offer from Google for L3 SWE, 2.8 YOE: Base :150k Bonus: 15% Sign on: 30k RSUs: 200k Total: 222.5k per year +30k sign on bonus. The recruiter said he could restructure the offer so that I could get more stocks instead of base etc but the total comp wouldn't change... Any suggestions on what the ideal structure could be? I remember reading on blind that having more initial stock grant is beneficial as the managers don't see initial stock grant but can see base salary during yearly salary increase. I have a competing offer from another company at same TC 222.5. Help.

Why would anyone want more stock than base? Just wondering. If base increased couldn't you buy more stock with that?

Yup
Your manager absolutely sees your total compensation. Even the increase caused by stock appreciation. Google is a data driven company

Ask if you can get an additional 0.5K to make it 223K
