Google L4 offer eval
Posting on behalf of a friend Need suggestions to determine if this is a good L4 offer. Base 155k Annual Bonus 23k (15% of base) Joining Bonus 0 😒 RSU 320 / 4 yrs YOE 6 in US + 2 in India + Masters in CS Location - Mountain view Is there room for negotiation? Thanks
Looks like a good offer. From what I hear, there will always be room for negotiation if there are competing offers
What’s the joining bonus and yearly bonus multiplier?
With a competing offer I think you could get a bit more. From some research I did for 4 YOE it's plausible to get up to 450 RSU or so I think - but needs strong offer from Facebook, which might need to be matched from like Lyft. Google isn't as generous with matching as Facebook sometimes for other companies, but Google usually does match or beat Facebook. If you have a lot of time, might be worth it, but it's a long process. If you really want Google, it's a solid offer, so take it of you find a good team. BTW, you might be able to get some RSU concerted to base or signing bonus.
