Google L6 PM Offer

I just got hiring committee approval for a L6 PM offer. Matching should be fine as I’ve already talked to some teams. What should I expect for an offer?

For comparison, I received a L6 PM offer from Lyft, $200k salary, I think it was 26k RSUs (at $10B valuation), $20k sign-on back in late 2017. TC was $473k the first year and $453k if you ignore the signing bonus after.

Some other numbers I’m familiar with, around same time at Lyft I saw $205/29k/$50k for TC of $493k (L6 PM, I thought that was quite good). I also saw $425k TC at Twitch for L6 and $400k TC at Google for L5, all back in late 2017/early 2018. I’ve been out of the game for a bit, so looking for some more recent numbers.

Thanks, I’ve heard of another L6 offer, but don’t know how common or uncommon it is.

They tend to down level, and give low offers unless you have a competing offer. Are they able to match lyft?

Still waiting for compensation review. One of the interviewers stalled on putting in feedback, and so I couldn’t hold onto my other offers long enough sadly. Otherwise I had engineered the timing perfectly.

I might still use the other offers as a counter. They’re a good reference.

Now it’s $80, you are making 26k*80=2080k 4yrs, which means 502k/yr for just RSU!

Can I ask why you’re looking to leave Lyft? Now that stock will finally become liquid...
