Looking at the salaries sheet in levels.fyi, I see some entries for Goggle L6 and some for Google T6. Is there a difference between L6 and T6?
No, T6 is the old of saying it
Previously the "T" prefix was used to describe the technical ladder and level. These days they've opted to use "L" as the prefix of choice for level. There are, however, different ladders at the company (T for sre/swe, O for solutions engineering etc.) To put it another way, L{N} will only describe your level but never the ladder (which could be tech or non tech)
Thanks
No
Isn’t T6 tech and L6 sometimes used for non tech?
