Hi, so I had my onsite interview. Think it went very well. Can someone please share any compensation insights for NON-TECHNICAL program manager at Google. This is specifically within Google Cloud team at Sunnyvale, CA. I have 3 to 4 years of exp. So should I expect L3 or L4? I would love to hear base+bonus+equity+sign-on breakdown for this role. There is a lot of info for technical roles but it's so hard to find TOTAL comp for program manager roles. Please share your knowledge....ballpark ranges will do too... just need an idea to ensure I don't get lowball offer. Thanks in advance!!
Was really hoping to get more responses....anyone else?
What did the interview(s) focus on, if you don't mind me asking?
It's your typical PgM questions. Used the STAR method to answer everything. Although the questions were probing different areas of the role. My role involves a bit of data analytics and financial modeling, so I had one interview focused on the analytical thinking and data handling Q's. 2 other interviews were straight up behavioral/situational type ques tions.... and 1 was a fun one...just conversational about who I am as a person and my overall fit for the Google culture/values. Hope that helps.
Thanks, this is helpful!
150K all-in at best
I just completed my interviews too, also non-eng but sales related at GCP in Sunnyvale (but it might be SF)... I'm being considered for L6, any ideas on expected comp? Will they match my unvested current stock?
How did u know about L6? Also how many years if exp?
15 years experience. I asked the recruiter what level are we looking at and he said probably L6 (hiring manager L7), still waiting on HC response
Hello! Can you please share what you ended up getting?
This was a while back lol.. but I think I was offered something around L3, 115k base, 100k/4 RSUs, 15% bonus I rejected it.
That base is really low
180 TC? Total guess
L3 or L4? Can u also attempt a sample breakdown of that TC? Thanks!
