Please evaluate 130k base + 15% bonus + 80k equity

Numbers are in dollars. I am new grad and I did few internships in top companies including Google (it is returning offer).

Stocks look low compering to what I see here, however people say that those are higher for US. You think I can negotiate?

Have you been thinking about negotiations? Actually I expect to get competing offer next week and try to get more stocks.

Yeah I started some negotiations, but I really care more about the level than numbers at this point. I wasn’t really happy about the team I picked either. You totally should try with the stocks! Hope you get it:)

google doesn't care about years they care about years working at "google" level companies and/or evidence of increasing skills/achievements

I'm from South America (so I need visa everywhere I want to work outside), I interned twice at Google in USA, got good reviews but flunked conversion interviews. They repeated the interviews because of the internship feedbacks and apparently they weren't satisfied (did better but didn't clear the bar), they wanted to put me on an application for TE (lower interview bar?) instead of SWE but there were no TE openings outside of USA for New Grads and I couldn't apply to the USA ones because of visa would be impossible for a foreign undergrad.

Came to Amsterdam last year as New Grad to B., have had the time of my life here, G. recruiter contacted me earlier this year but I passed on it since I was having a good time here, but from time to time I get nostalgic. I wish I was at my top again to try applying, I don't feel confident I'll make it again through interviews.

Current work is fine, but sometimes I miss G sometimes I don't, sigh, like a complicated relationship after enjoying so much the internships but then a messy and convoluted FTE conversion attempt. Amsterdam is such a paradise for me, all I could ever want in a city, and I've made dear friends too. People also say nice things about Zurich but I'm still working towards feeling myself again at my best. I dont want to move only because of a job, for me falling in love with the city I'm in is as much important as a good job.

While you are in Amsterdam, you should talk to us at Uber - we are next door. Our eng culture is pretty nice and lots of potential upside & interesting challenges as we head to IPO.

Hey what about experience? I heard that to apply google zurich you need to have 3yoe. Is it true?
    Sep 10, 2018 8
    • Booking.com B.ooggle
dsVI55 people with returning offers from internships usually don't require years of experience similarly to how we upgrade graduates to core without the years requirement.

As far as I know, as EU citizen I can work in Switzerland without any restrictions.

That's correct, that requirement is for non-EU candidates only.

How are they checking the 3 yoe? And is it very strict? I am in late interview process, and I want to be prepared. I have about 2.5 yoe

Already asked about that, but I am pretty sure it is over 4 years. If it would be per year this offer would be already signed ;)
