Post on-site (non Tech PrgMgr) my recruiter recently emailed me telling me that the feedback from the interviewers is very positive and that she wants to move to the HC and needs the following information. Can someone help with the best way is to answer these questions: 1) What are your base salary expectations? What are your annual stock unit value expectations? What are your total compensation expectations? Q- What is a good number? (I have 5 YOE, 2.5 Years as a PM @ Amazon, TC= 142K) 2) Can you provide 2-3 references (if any) within Google? Please provide their first and last name. Q- Do I need to have worked with them professionally? Friends okay? 3) Please provide relevant details (company name, position, base salary, bonus, equity, etc) of your competing offer to ensure our comp team puts together a fair and competitive offer. Q- What is a good answer here? I do not have competing offers but I am in the final stages of interviewing at a couple of companies.
You can easily make it up just get one name of company and position that you interviewed and put +10% of your actual TC, (or more but 10% is safe play)
Dude, they would even ask for proof.haha
Don't bluff, or risk getting caught.. they always ask for proof
You cannot show them offer right? That is your NDA that you signed. If you will get FB offer and then send it to google FB have right to cancel your offer. Please read your NDA before signing... so if he will get an offer from company A, what google can do is in best case just confirm that he got offer but wont get details like TC. He got google so will get other offers for sure. Just play it right, you need counter offer for google to get good TC. If you are afraid for blef just tell them that your offer is on the way and you need few days to recieve details. Google is not hurry up they always will give you time
> That is your NDA that you signed. Whether or not compensation details can be covered by NDA is legally nebulous. > If you will get FB offer and then send it to google FB have right to cancel your offer. FB can rescind the offer for almost any reason they want.
1&3. never answer these questions. 2. friends are ok of course
Sorry but how to dodge these questions? 1. What is a good answer to 1 above ?
Also what is the purpose of asking for internal referrals at Google ?
Just buy time till you get other offers.
