Hello everyone, could you please confirm if I understand the following correctly: while relocating from Google Zurich (or any other EU location) to Google Seattle (or any US location in general) I still get the same amount of yearly RSUs depending on initial grant, but the base is going to be adjusted to new location; plus, yearly refreshers going to be adjusted as well. Is this correct? If so, it's a bit sad, because Zurich RSUs are still quite low in comparison to RSUs granted in US. Can an equalizing of RSUs to the Seattle levels be expected if being promoted later on in Seattle? Thank you in advance.
Better to move in the opposite direction: pocket an outsized RSU grant in the US and an increase in base as you start in Zurich.
Would be great if I only had this option. :) The potential plan is to move from Zurich to US on L1 visa

Worried that our top performer is an attrition risk. How do managers handle this?
Sorry buddy, that's the reality, you are still better off , imagine someone moving from Bangalore to MTV , e.g. RSU'S in blore are lower than you can imagine but still lot of Indians move to valley
Thank you. These RSUs is a tricky thing. Anyway, there is also a yearly base increase at G as far as I understand, which is nice, not many tech companies in EU offer this option.
What about at the time of promotion or increments? Will they give new RSUs based on current location?
