tl;dr - summary ^ Question - Should I just give up on her and reapply again? I think my period will be over in October. Longer Info - Interviewed in August 2018, got the offer but couldn't move to MTV. So I'm told they will find me a team in Seattle/Kirkland area. Had one chance to match, but the headcount ended up not going through and that manager got moved somewhere else. Since the beginning of 2019, the hiring in this area slow down unless you're a 5/6. Fast forward to today, I find more positions being listed, but each time I email my recruiter, she takes 2+ weeks to respond. Should I just give up on her and reapply again? I think my period will be over in October. I was matched at 3/4 because it was for UxPgM and I was a TPgM coming in to that "different" role (imposter syndrome kicked in and I was just willing to do whatever to get in at that time.... Stupid me) Thank you for all your input!!
The latter. If all else fails, reach out to the person who emailed (Recruiting Coordinator) with the details for the technical phone screen explain the problem and ask for a new recruiter.
Thank you!!
Quick update - I contacted the coordinator, she essentially pinged my recruiter to connect with me. After a few exchanges of emails, she's telling me to just reapply to roles when I see them opened.... I'm not liking it, but at least I got some answers :( thank you for all your help. I appreciate it.
And I thought it was bad that I've been waiting since early April for team matching
Imagine if you also got laid off in January 😂
Truthfully, I'm more 😭
No need to reapply again. Reach out to your recruiter again. CC your Sourcer (first person you spoke with) as well. Explain to them your situation. October is still pretty far off. Ask them to be routed to managers outside of the original organization.
The first recruiter that spoke with me on the phone? Or the recruiter that said "someone will email you to see up phone interview"? Thank you so much!!
