Aced interviews. Was verbally told Google would like to give me an offer, but recruiter keeps trying to push me for numbers. The only hint I got is that they were asking the hiring committee for L 4 or L 5. Currently, Microsoft PM up in Seattle, ~6 years experience, making ~150k base, expecting a decent bump within two months, and perfectly happy at my job. Not exactly itching to move unless the compensation is great/an upgrade despite the location change. What kind of numbers should I be throwing back at the recruiter for base, sign on, stock etc.?
Op what's your current TC?
When was your onsite?
OP, could you share your offer details?
OP could you share level at Microsoft
PM me. I left MSFT recently and had offers from both FB and G
If L5, then 170 base, 700 RSUs /4 years, 40 signing bonus is good
700 rsus for L5? Unlikely unless you got all "must hires" in the interview and a competing offer For L4, 200-250 For L5, 250-300. More than 300 with competing offer
At that base compared to what I already make, it's barely accounting for state income tax, right? With cost of living thrown in, I'd be looking at a decrease in quality of life. Sorry if I'm being naive.
