Recruiter said new policy is to team match befofe HC. Also said very high chance of passing HC. Should I be worried about HC rejection? what are the chances of Hc rejection at this stage.
HC = hiring committee.
Thank you!

Generally recruiters are tight lipped about whether or not you will pass HC. So if they said you are going to pass, I would believe them.
Is this actually true? I feel like it varies with recruiter. I'm currently waiting for Statement of Support from manager being going into HC and my recruiter has said multiple times that she "feels very confident" about passing HC if I get a statement of support. But I feel like she is just saying that because recruiters want you to feel good about the process
I was stuck in team match limbo for 1 month while recruiter kept reassuring me that feedback was “very positive”, then HC just rejected me. Fuck Google’s interview process. Just reject me on the spot like any other company, or give me some honest feedback.
SO went through the same thing. Very positive feedback from onsite and thought he did well on everything. But for some reason no from HC.
That’s crazy and such an emotional roller coaster!
There is always a chance that hc may reject. With a team match your chance may increase to pass HC( manager and recruiter will write a statement of support) I got team matched and then got through hc.
I was told my interview was "mixed' and team matching will increase my chances. Met 6 teams within 3 weeks and 3 teams showing interest after meeting. Just got new I passed hiring committee. My interviewer was very tight-lipped and so conservative it made me feel pessimistic. Sounds like you have something solid there.
SWE or TPM?
OP, have you passed HC?
Not yet. Wil find out soon
Good luck! Have you matched a team?
Any updates from HC?
HC passed. No team match yet. Waiting since November. How about you?
Why does everyone on Blind speak abbreviation?
Gotta understand Lingo Franca!
How else do you expect a cult to communicate?
