Google base pay
So does Google compete with the rest of big tech on base salary? They don't appear to be in the same game as everyone else. Equity is ok, but yearly bonus is pretty whack compared to MS/Amazon. Just curious if it's worth the negotiation or if they are just crap hoping their stock well carry the weight.
What level are you at Microsoft? At L5, comp is half bonus - you don't need stock growth for it to be better than Microsoft.

Amazon has awful base pay + no bonus + poor benefits. However, Microsoft employees shouldn’t be talking about pay compared to Google..
Amazon annual bonus is 0%. If you believe Google is worst then they should be taking money from employees instead of giving annual bonus.
