I was referred by two people for an engineering position at google but was rejected by all three teams they recommended me for. I had final round interviews last year at Google, and they rejected me saying wait a year then apply again. Does google have a blacklist for applicants who didn't get the job in the past?
Explain what happened more coherently. You applied last year and this year? How far did you make it this year? Also, why are you looking to leave Apple for Google (just wondering).
Last year got to final interviews, recruiter followed up saying I did well but reapply a year later. I did and they didn't want to interview now, even with two referrals
How many interviews did you have? Did you pass hiring committee. Regardless of what happened then, what specifically did they say this time?
What did the people who referred you tell you? The recruiters generally pass back at least a vague reason, such as there are more qualified candidates or maybe it hasn't been a full year since your last interview yet.
I wonder the same here! The past comments could relate the current application if there is red flag?
Yes if you voted for trump or think character means less than race/sex/gender
The lack of awareness is very much on display.
I don't think this is true. I made the mistake of donating to Trump but Google still hired me. Maybe they just don't check the FEC records?
