Experience selling Google cloud for a google cloud premier partner. GCP and G suite to SMB to Mid market. 3 YOE with google. 6 years professional exp. What I want to know.. •If I apply to google will I get an interview? Process? •Will google tell or ask my company? •OTE? •Advice?
I wasn’t comparing offerings. But the difference between GCP and my current position was about 18% reason being GCP comp plans are very low leverage.
What’s your TC

SADA Systems, man I tried getting into your company, the guy said no basically. Was kinda bummed. 3 YoE, aerospace engineer
Got it. Interesting, who did your interview with/dept?
I don’t wanna throw out names here but the SADA in North Hollywood. The recruiter was a chill dude, but just didn’t feel I could come on board because no CS degree (I just passed GCP Architect exam). I think maybe if I had a referral I’d be better off? Who knows
Any suggestions on where I should interview with G Suite and a lot of SaaS licensing and services selling experience?
Microsoft, hate to say. But sounds like they’re the ones actually making money. GCP is lower the bar to entry because they aren’t making enough money
Yeah, hate that culture but that seems to be the common thread. Google can’t get away from making everything free, hard to make great money off of free of heavy discounts
OP is right.. that's how they try to sell G Suite against M365, give it away for years so companies might switch to try and save $. But companies still want Office, Windows and need to pay for plugins for the gaps to make things work so hard to make financial savings or sales quota in that model. Is KT making any change in G Suite or just focused on GCP?
I’d say skip I got an offer from GCP and turned it down believe it or not IBM plays their sales people more than google.
Oh really? What was the delta between the offers?
