My recruiter first mentioned they were going to do team matching first (he said this after seeming some of the feedback after the interviews), then all feedback came in and he says it's going directly to HC. Is that a good or bad sign? UPDATE: HC approved!
U r being fast tracked as u r a rockstar. Be happy. 🥳
Welcome to Google.
Fingers crossed!
Also could be because I mentioned I have another offer (but I said I'd take Google over it anyway) and he's trying to speed things up.
I did the same thing, I had a pending offer, so my recruiter went ahead and I passed HC but I am still stuck on team matching. The another offer never came through.
Did the recruiter disclose the general feedback? Did it say whether there was a good chance or just told you that it's going to HC?
Good sign, and probably will make things faster. Ask to start looking for team matches asap, a lot of people have issues getting headcount for new employees.
I had a team match first but got rejected in hc
Yea, team match first often means you are borderline and they hope a good team match will put you over the top.
Yes but then why to reject in hc if team match is done
Op, let us know what happens!
Will update when I hear back!
HC Approved!
Update: HC approved!
Congratulations 🎈🎉🍾🥳🎶🥳
It’s a good sign. It means there’s enough positive feedback such that the recruiter thinks you can make it through without needing a recommendation from a hiring manager
Thanks! I hope the recruiter's intuition is right. Would suck to be rejected when a team match could have changed the outcome.
