I've been Interviewing with google for 5+ months. I've been getting updates from the recruiter every 2 weeks or so, but they just keep adding more and more interviews. I had my onsite back on June 16th, and they just keep kicking the can and having me do virtuals with more people? They did say they had a backlog of 60 software engineers who passed hiring committee that they didn't yet have a spot for. Only, I'm interviewing for a supply chain spot. Anyone else go this long in the process? Feedback has been positive the whole way.
Looks like you have been friend zoned by google !
Again and again and again.... š
If the role they want you for was important or you were a critical hire, they would have locked you in with an offer a while back. I second giving them a deadline and moving on.
Real question is why are you keeping up with this? . Plenty of other good companies. However if you donāt have a deadline to switch then chill
Did you pass the HC ?
If it makes you feel better it was 6 months for me. Several years at Google and thriving now.
Stop being treated like you are indespensible . Next time, give them a deadline else they can f off!
backlog of 60? Wow.
I interviewed in March, passed HC in April, and since then Iām waiting for the headcount. SWE L3.
