It’s not that any one part is hard it’s just that it’s so long and you never know what’s going to come next as you make it through each gate. The exhilaration and terror are real. I’ve made it to the on-site scheduling but feel 1,000,000 miles away from the end. Trying to interview at other places at the same time is exhausting. I’m just venting. I know I’m not the only one. First world problems. If I get this I’m definitely going on a vacation for a week somewhere tropical to de-stress and recharge and celebrate the accomplishment.
I feel you OP. Started my process 2 months back, and got an on site confirmation now. Will take another 1/2 months before I'm done. Haven't been able to work/sleep properly since I started interviewing. I've been juggling 4-5 companies at a time.
Why do we do this to ourselves? I guess we all want the same thing. Good company, high pay, and interesting work. The not eating part is real. The anxiety can kill your appetite. It’s actually a great weight loss program. I recommend it!!! Good luck on the journey.
And to you too!

Rephrase as " Interviewing is such a long game"
If you get this, you’ll work at Google which more often than not is like de stressing in a tropical vacation 😁

I relate to this. I am in process of interviewing at Google too. Plus Amazon is making the whole situation worst. Hope we come out winner after the long battle!
Just keep your head up and know your worth. And remember there’s a lot of people that would kill to have the opportunities that are before us. Let’s be mindful and respectful of what a privilege it is to be engaged with these companies. Best of luck to you.
Amen!
