Title says everything. Salesforce offer is way more competitive money wise and while Google tries to match, I doubt they will do 100% because of difference in levels. Which one would you take if we forget about specific teams?
L5 is definitely much lower
Salesforce Director is principal level PM. You don’t have any direct reports.
What?
Product management Directors at Salesforce are individual contributors. They don’t manage any PMs.
What's your current title?
There’s future in Salesforce. Next!
Salesforce director maps to L5
Google is known to low-ball. Unless you crush the interview and have a high competing offer
What teams are you getting in both? For PM positions that is a very important, if not the most important, factor.
Lmfao, I don’t know what this says about Salesforce titles honestly.
We have some pretty heavy title inflation
So got final numbers from Salesforce - TC is 100k higher per year (400k vs 300k in Google)... taking into account the titles difference, I believe the choice is obvious... do you think Google will be able/willing to match?
Director, especially if I am a pm.
