Google offer expiration/deadline
How much time does google usually give until the offer expires? My recruiter is saying I have to give decision this week, but I’m still waiting on a company and have said so.
Aren't Google interview results valid for a year? Even if they rescind an offer for a team, couldn't you just go through team match process with another team? Check with your recruiter though first.
I wasn’t told this. Not wanting to chance it either.
It doesn't hurt to ask your recruiter. It is a risk with Google as there are no guarantees your next offer would actually get approved by exec committee
For my case, it was valid for 6 months
Were you able to act on it after it expired (on paper)? Did the offer have an initial deadline?
I didn't bother as I wasn't going to accept it anyway.. initial deadline was 2 weeks but they don't me clearly that it's valid for next 6 months in case if I change my mind (after declining)
Ask to extend. 1-2 week is not a big deal.
I asked to extend and they said no.
I feel bad for you. Smh. Try pressure on the other company as well.
