Ok I know Google onsite interview bar is same across the world and people dont tend to Bias much. But from my personal experience a lot of my friends have been rejected at Hyderabad office as comapred to Bangalore. Is it true that Bangalore office interviews are realtively easy? Also my interview is for Europe/London office so should I instead travel to London for interviews. P.S. I have no interest in travelling Europe just want to maximize my odds. Yoe: 3 LC: 300 questions level: L3 Additionaly my recruiter is kind of pushing for 1 system design too. Im pretty good at Algo DS, should I take the system Design?
The bar is never the same.
True! Google is expanding pretty aggressively in India. So the odds are quite good here. Don’t know about Europe
Out of context, but current TC and level at MS? Also, I also resonate with your personal experience of friends getting selected at bangalore and getting rejected at hyderabad. But sample space is of just 2 people. 😅
Go for system design. If you do very well, it's a good data point for leveling.
That’s an good point. Also do you think the probability of bombing a system design is more or less same as screwing a algo round?
Bombing system design is easier. You just don't know what you don't know. There are lot of videos and blogs you can read to prep. Use them.
Did the recruiter agree to let you choose the interview venue? Usually they send you to the local office.
For what it's worth I interviewed in Hyderabad but all my interviews were on hangouts with folks in other geographies. I wouldn't read too much into it. Hired as a PM
What's the min exp for applying as L4? Also i thought design round is for L4 and above.
I have no idea what I was voting for
Lol! Location where odds of clearing on-site is max in Google.
No idea dude. Never really interviewed outside US. But all the best.
