I interviewed at google earlier this month and still awaiting response. Another friend had onsite on the same day and got the response in two days. Is this delay normal? Any idea about timelines?
Got my positive results in about a week and a half. There's no set timeline though
Faster means the interview feedback wasn't even good enough to go to HC
Contrary to their algorithms ..the slower u get results the better 😁
I got my feedback fast, but I let them know that I had competing offers.
Was told I was interviewing for L3/L4. I did an on-site and was notified within 24hrs that I had done well enough to proceed to HC. 3-4 days after on site , matched and ranked 4 teams while waiting for the next HC meeting. Was notified that HC recommended to hire at L4 roughly 3 hours after they convened. VP approval 3 days after that. Offer about 3 days after that. Only thing I screwed up was that I couldn't contain my excitement so I probably screwed up on my compensation negotiations. I was pretty desperate to get out of aerospace/defense and didn't think I had a chance at Google. TC 270 L4. Think I could've gotten higher comp, but still incredibly happy with the offer and the chance to alter my career course.
Thanks for sharing your experience!
Did ur friend get rejected? Bc if he screwed up the onsite like I did, it came within 3 days 😂
I also got rejected in 3 days.
Haha that means u screwed it up as badly as I did 😁👊
