When I was in college I participated in code jam. I applied for Google and never got noticed. But 1year after graduating I got an email from Google recruiter asking to setup a call after noticing that I qualified long back in code jam. It was a normal call however I asked for 3 month prep. Then they messaged again at which point I asked for another 3 month prep. I recently bombed amazon coding test. And I feel I am not ready. And Google recruiter mailed again. Now what to do? Do I take it and fail it so that I can try immediately after their cool off or wait and take risk? I am not new to leetcode, but I am not confident either especially for Google. I did like 50 leets. But not confident yet.
Practice with intent. 6 months should be enough. Practicing for a long time with low intensity doesn't get the same result, IMHO.
Op here. Well said. I truly need to have intent. I have collected all resources like leetcode or algoexpert or ctci or epi but I haven't practiced enough. Thanks
Why did you use another account? Did you got kicked from your account too?
I got contacted by google recruiter and i told i am not ready for interviews and need 3 months time. She contacted me back after 3 months and then i asked for additional 1 month and gave the interviews. Went to HC but got rejected. You can always ask for more time and they are pretty flexible with that
Ignore them
If you have this “not confident” mindset, I can be 99% sure that you will keep being “not confident” for long time. No matter you believe it or not, luck plays the key role and sometimes it’s more important than the actual skill. Go get interviewed. If you pass, that’s good. If not, learn something from it and try again next time.
50 leets of easy, medium, or hard?
Mix of easy and medium. Haven't touched hard at all

Do the interview. You will learn from it even if you fail. In a year you can apply again.
