Google scheduled interview then emailed L3 is full
As title says, they scheduled interviews then recruiter told me L3 is full right now. Visit careers.google.com without even interviewing me 🥺 How unprofessional of Google!

I admire google for many reasons but their arrogance shows in their recruiting efforts.
They’re not any more arrogant than most others. Every tech org has learned from Google and is trying to do the same, but often not as effectively.

That sucks, but at least it's better than telling you L3 is full after you actually interviewed?
I already gave online assessment and phone screen. This was on-site 😒😏
Definitely not ideal, but I guess it's best to let you know as soon as they know, so they don't continue to waste your time. Sorry this happened to you!
This just happened to me today. Was told I did well enough to make it to the onsite but that won’t be happening b/c they’re at headcount. It’s one of the most arrogant & noxious tactics a company has ever tried to pull on me; why the fuck did you interview me if you were even close to HC?
