Google team match before HC: 2 months waiting without any team interest
I had the onsite in G Munich on June. Recruiter said the feedback was mixtured so we would go for team match first. 2 months passed and I still have not talked to any team. What could be the reason? Summer holidays? Teams not wanting to interview with me because of the mixtured feedback and not having passed HC? Some more details on the feedback I received: LC interviews were 1 bad, 1 somewhat slow but good, 1 super good. SD was really good and same for Values interview. TBH I didn't prepare LC much, just 2 afternoons. TC: 35k (in Barcelona) YOE: 2
It took me 6 months from 1st interview to start date.
Can you briefly describe your journey through the interview process?
I had a team match before HC it was my first team. I passed HC and then was denied by vp because team wasn't a full match for my skills. It took me 4 months to find a new team and now I start in 2 weeks. It was definitely a rough process. I am happy for it to be over with.
Did you get the job?
Following. In similar situation. Did you follow up with the recruiter?
Yes, after first two weeks. Then one month after. And again yesterday. The only reason they gave me was holidays.
But 2 months feels too much even during holidays
