I passed Google hiring committee three month ago but haven’t found a team yet due to lack of headcount in Seattle. I did talk to three managers but not really a good match. We agreed on compensation so I turned off other offers. Recently I was told that I may need to go through HC and compensation team again and revalued as no competing offer since all of them expired just because it’s already 3 month. Any idea, does Google have such policy?

So they dragged 3 months to let your competing offers expire and now want to renegotiate agreed upon offer when you don't have competing offers anymore. Wow, that's something.
Similar case here where I haven’t find any matches.
seems a lot of new opening out in Oct
I am even thinking about moving to Bay Area if it is easier to find a good team there. Can you share more info about TC and YOE ? I haven’t discussed tc with he since there was no match, the yoe is 2.5 for me. And I have been waiting for 1 months.... seems we are colleagues at fb. It would be great if you can share more details

1. What were your preferences? 2. What teams were interested in you?
My location preference on Kirkland/Bellevue, but no headcount till Oct that’s why I matched so long. I did talk to managers in Seattle office, not quite interested in the team, but if it’s in Kirkland/Bellevue I would just joined and internal transfer later.
What teams did you talk to?
