Google vs Amazon levels for non tech

Hi. I am interviewing for a Program Manager role in Google for which the recruiter has not revealed the level. I am currently a L5 at Amazon and in-line for a promo in Q3 of this year, what would be an appropriate high L5 or low L6 level equivalent in Google.

Hard to say but I would ask the recruiter what level you are applying for and let them know your current situation.

I would say L4 .

I moved to Google at L4 just after getting promoted to L6 at Amazon. Generally L6 in Amz is L5 in Google. I would suggest you to push hard for L5 rather regret later like me.

I have seen ppl in L5 having 10 to 15 years, does Amazon L6 require such experience?

Amazon L6 is 5 yrs experience, so Google L4 is the right leveling
