Received similar offers from Google and Salesforce. Is there any room to negotiate with Google? YOE: 3, TC: 210k, L61 Redmond Google Mountain View, L4 Base: 160k Bonus: 15% Stocks: 370k Signon: 35k Salesforce SF, SMTS Base: 180k Bonus: 15% Stocks: 280k Signon: 20k
Google 🤪 >>> Salesforce 🤮
Yeah how is this even a question
swe, distributed systems
Tc 210k for l61? Detail please as it is unrealisticly good
mostly on-hire stock appreciation. 135k/15k/60k currently.
That's a very strong offer for SMTS. The base is about average for new hire SMTS, but the RSUs are very high. If you want to optimize for WLB, go with Salesforce. If you want to optimize for career growth, go with Google.
We’re going to confuse OP
Salesforce is the worst.
I mean it's not competitive with Google I'll give you that, but "worst" is pretty off the mark
Rich coming from Symantec.
What part of SalesForce would you be working in?
it's for one of their infra teams.
Can you post about the interview process of Salesforce?
1 manager phone screen, 3-hour hacker rank, and 5 onsite interviews.
Google has regular rsu refreshers. Salesforce does not. Google comp is going to be way more after a few years.
This.
No brained Google, sfdc refresh sucks big time
SalesForce for growth. Google for rest and vest.
Wow I would have said the complete opposite...I'm actually stunned reading this lol
Einstein Team has a lot of work. What part of SalesForce is chill?
