I watched some of the video and it was extremely weak. Some unknown person who would not be identified, an undercover interview of someone at a bar where things were taken out of context and/or not clearly explained because she did not know she was being interrogated and filmed. She did not say google was trying to influence the election or necessarily against trump - but you could jump to conclusions. I took it more of a comment on how google needs to work to protect people from shit journalism and trumps own lies/embellishments vs swaying popular opinion against him.

Not kool aid - I definitely think there is bias and manipulation- I think that is a given. Not necessarily in a manufactured way - it’s just the way algos work and then it gets tweaked which introduces additional bias. I just think the news report looks like crappy reporting that seems baseless hearsay vs some smoking gun.
