I got a job at a startup and I’m not sure if there’s room for negotiation. Moreover I want to know if the tech stack is good for the future. Pay - 60k annual Location - Orlando, Florida Tech stack - Vue JS , ASP.net, azure Role - junior Front end developer Experience - Masters degree in Info Tech and 3 month internship experience as software engineer at PwC(PricewaterhouseCoopers)
That’s a decent salary in Belarus
You gotta start somewhere. You could do that for a year and double or triple your pay with some experience by changing companies
Thanks guys ! I plan to do the same. My only concern is, If what I’m gonna be working on would still be used in the future.
Azure will be, not sure on the others havent heard of them 🤣
👀
You haven’t heard of the other 2?🤔
I hadn't heard of Vue or ASP. I'm not an SDE for clarity.
ASP is basically older than cobol
Congrats! Don’t be much concerned about TC in the beginning of your career. Try to learn as much as possible, then you can get into high paying jobs later.
True ! Thanks guys ! Feel more relaxed now 😌
It never hurts to negotiate anyway to add another $5k-$20k to your salary. I did it with my first engineer job and got $5k
