Similar role. Almost double the total comp. Still an RFE. Why is USCIS doing this?!

- Amazon t33etcSo glad I got my greencard, applied just before Trump got elected, feel like I made it in just under the wire. I see people who came in with similar background/ occupation / visa class as me getting hassled and denied now.
- Amazon / EnglegendmoreWell, may be it's just a matter of time 😂. Historically even born citizens were kicked out at some point when situation got bad enough: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mexican_Repatriation
And I heard another bigger crisis is coming!!!Mar 17, 20180
- Apple / EngMarijuanamoreAmazon hired lawyers to take care of this shit, correct? It’s their problem now.
Hope you’re still at the older company. Stay there until you transfer is approved.
- SAP HkVX62This is just nuts. Looks like USCIS is in all out assault against H1B and weirdly making life difficult for every one not just those who have abused the system. I am wondering what the legality of all these RFEs and denials are. If they have already adjudicates a position to be "Specialty Occupation" in the past and have approved someone as qualified, how can they go back ? Is ignoring past precedence ok ? Don't they have to go through a rule making process ? I wondering if I should reach out to local Congressmen for help
